Gerald R. Ford Museum On-line Watergate Exhibit

The Watergate exhibit at the Gerald R. Ford Museum immerses the visitor in one of the most critical constitutional crises in the nation's history.  It is the story of a bungled burglary at the Watergate apartments in Washington, D.C., in June 1972 that eventually forced Richard Nixon to resign as President of the United States, and elevated Gerald R. Ford to the nation's highest office on August 9, 1974.  The unfolding trauma and tragedy of those two years, and the final triumph of American democracy, is dramatically told in the exhibit at the Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  And now the people, places, and events of those incredible years come alive with this magnificent on-line Watergate exhibit.
