In times of uncertainty each generation can benefit from looking to an earlier one for inspiration and hope.
The “Greatest Generation,” a term coined by Tom Brokaw, is one such generation that speaks to our times. They lived and came of age after the First World War. They survived the Great Depression and went on to fight and win World War II, only to remake America and the world in the decades that followed.
Susan Eisenhower will illuminate this generation, their leadership, and their era—and connect their experiences to the challenges we face today in our own turbulent times.
Following the event, there will be a book sale and signing for How Ike Led.
This Greatest Generation Celebration event is made possible with generous support from Meijer, the Gerald R.
