This file contains material relating exclusively to the 1976 campaign. Much of this is public opinion mail which received form White House responses and very little appears to be of substantive research value. Included are public responses to Ford's announcement to run in July 1975, suggestions concerning campaign strategy, and correspondence with people volunteering to work and with delegates to the 1976 Republican Convention. Also included here are White House materials on presidential campaign activities and liaison with the President Ford Committee.
