This series consists primarily of color and black and white photographs documenting the Asmus family?s participation on the Bicentennial Wagon Train, especially along the Santa Fe Trail. It includes the Asmus family's scrapbook that contains photographs and textual material such as newspaper clippings and itineraries from the trip. Also included are a collection of lithographs of presidential portraits, and a VHS tape of home video taken on the Bicentennial Wagon Train.

Her youth is well documented, particularly her family’s trips to their cottage at Whitefish Lake in Pierson, Michigan; her summers at the Bennington School of Dance in Vermont; her time as a dance instructor at Camp Bryn Afon in Rhinelander, Wisconsin; and her work as a fashion model for Herpolsheimer’s Department Store in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This series also includes pictures of her parents William Stephenson Bloomer and Hortense Neahr Bloomer; her brothers Bill Bloomer and Bob Bloomer; her step-father Arthur Meigs Godwin and his third wife Lillian Godwin; and other relatives.
