The documents pertain to the domestic and international economic climates, monitoring of food and grain prices, energy consumption, exports and imports, and regulation of industries. While this series consists primarily of records found in the L. William Seidman Files (ARC Identifier 644158), it also contains interfiled Federal Reserve Board documents. Burns, although not officially a member of the EPB, was invited to attend meetings whenever he chose and regularly received copies of Board memoranda.
