Her youth is well documented, particularly her family’s trips to their cottage at Whitefish Lake in Pierson, Michigan; her summers at the Bennington School of Dance in Vermont; her time as a dance instructor at Camp Bryn Afon in Rhinelander, Wisconsin; and her work as a fashion model for Herpolsheimer’s Department Store in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This series also includes pictures of her parents William Stephenson Bloomer and Hortense Neahr Bloomer; her brothers Bill Bloomer and Bob Bloomer; her step-father Arthur Meigs Godwin and his third wife Lillian Godwin; and other relatives.
