It also contains six signed oversized photographs of notable figures, such as former presidents Herbert Hoover, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Dwight D. Eisenhower, and photographs sent with correspondence and greeting cards from both world leaders and personal friends of the Ford family.

A visit to the San Francisco District Office and a 1974 trip to Japan as part of a U.S.-Japan Cooperative Study Program on Health and Welfare are particularly well documented. This series also includes an audio recording of Schmidt’s 1973 address to the Midwest Pharmaceutical Advertising Club Seminar and a video recording about self-medication.

Partial contact sheet prints for two rolls of portraits of the editorial staff are also included. A set of note cards created by National Council staff provide basic description information for rolls of film.
