Queen Elizabeth's visit to the White House

This brooch was a gift to First Lady Betty Ford from Queen Elizabeth. The gold starburst design features five scattered diamonds and five Marquee diamonds. The Queen’s initials are at the center of the brooch.

Queen Elizabeth gifted Susan Ford, who lived with her parents at the White House, this silver compact makeup case. The letters “ER” are engraved on the lid.

These cufflinks were a gift from Queen Elizabeth to Jack Ford, who lived at the White House after graduating from college. The face of the gold cufflinks shows the crown with the initials “E II R” beneath.

In honor of the American Bicentennial, Queen Elizabeth presented President Gerald Ford with this porcelain Royal Crown soup tureen. On the front is a painting of the White House and on the back is Philadelphia’s Independence Hall.
