long sword

Bronze long sword with malachite patina, dated to 3rd century – 1st century B.C., Qin or Han Dynasty. Bronze was the choice material for the manufacture of weapons before the discovery of iron. During the 3rd century B.C., the Qin army conquered all their neighboring states, which began the Qin Dynasty, because it made the sharpest and longest bronze swords.
