Visitors are now welcome at the Gerald R. Ford Museum in Grand Rapids. Tickets must be purchased online at Visit the Museum. Hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM, Sunday Noon – 5 PM. All public and educational programs will remain as online virtual programs only.

  Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in Washtenaw County, Michigan, the National Archives and Records Administration has closed the research room and public exhibit spaces at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in Ann Arbor beginning Monday, August 30, 2021 until further notice. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience. Staff are continuing to respond to email inquiries sent to ford.library@nara.gov.

Tour the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

Click the link above to step inside the Ford Museum and take a virtual tour with the Museum's Curator Don Holloway.  Walk through the Core Exhibits, learn about Gerald R. Ford’s childhood and early years in Grand Rapids.  Continue the tour as Mr. Holloway explains how Ford’s time as a student at the University of Michigan helped shape the man who becomes a Congressman, Vice President and eventually, President. The tour concludes with the final gallery honoring the funeral services of both President and Mrs. Ford.

Bonus tours include an inside look at the Cabinet Room and Oval Office displays.
