I’m intrigued that everything in this log cabin scene was formed by hand: walls, table, pottery, pewter plates, quilt square, garden, fence, and neighboring cabin.

Materials and Techniques: Cotton batiks, hand-dyes and prints; tulle; synthetics; black lace. Cloth “pottery� fused to felt and machine embroidered. Machine raw-edge appliqué and piecing.
