World War II
Cold War and Korea
Desert Storm
Every occupant of the Oval Office from Franklin D. Roosevelt to George W. Bush has admired Bob Hope for his service to the nation. Regardless of background or party affiliation, each one has presented him with citations, awards and medals of the highest distinction. Bob has been invited to the White House on countless occasions, where his great wit and unrivaled showmanship have entertained the American president and his guests. For more than a half century Bob has helped our commanders in chief put aside their troubles and enjoy the company of one of our most patriotic citizens---and sometimes even play a few rounds of golf.
