Selected Gerald R. Ford Presidential Speeches and Writings

The following speeches, Executive Orders, and proclamations have been digitized over the years by the Library staff. A small number of speeches have audio clips so that you can listen to portions of them. If you are interested in a speech that does not appear here, please contact the Library.

A compilation of all presidential speeches and press conferences for recent Presidents can be found at major libraries in the series titled Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States. The six-volume set of Public Papers covering the Ford presidency may be purchased from the Ford Museum Store.
