FA 5: Housing

Material on federal aid for housing, including: construction of subsidized
housing for elderly and low-income persons, rental assistance programs,
grant proposals, and programs to stimulate new housing starts and bolster
the mortgage market. Many of the documents are copies of identical congratulatory
letters from the President to the mayors of various cities and villages
after these communities filed their plans under the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974.
FA 6: Public Health
