Robert Mead

Formerly the White House producer for CBS News, Robert Mead was hired in August 1974 to help President Gerald Ford improve his on-air image by making sure his wardrobe and makeup would be right for television, and coaching him in the use of teleprompters, stage directions, etc. Mead left the White House staff in July 1976.
