| Archives are
repositories of the records of individuals and organizations. Their |

| purpose is to
preserve records of enduring value and make them available for |
|
| use. The Ford
Presidential Library holds the records of the Ford White House |
|
| (1974-77) and
much else. It is part of a system of
presidential libraries run by |
|
| the National Archives and
Records Administration. |
